I found reference to the Rev. Ruch as a Methodist minister. He founded the Methodist Episcopal church of Rulo in Richardson County, Neb., in 1865.
Rev. Ruch argues that three races of men are distinct and are all of the races ever in existence. “All the numerous types of humanity are only variations or derivatives of these well-marked races, the white, black, and brown.”
